Miscellaneous

Well... the Ethics class at Inver Hills is now over. Katy, Perri, Brandon, Carl, and Khatra will be waiting with anticipation as to how well they did on the final. Good luck to them! I will also be interested to find out how I did. It is much more fun to be the teacher and not the student. Grades, you know.

This blog will be used for those taking the summer course having to do with Minnesota. English, Social Studies, History, and Economics will all be taught through discovering Minnesota.

We will be meeting Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 10:00-2:00. We will begin the week of June 16th and will be finished the first week in August. We will be doing many "field trips" that will take us all around the Twin Cities area. Some of your activities will be found on this blog, so you will have to check it daily. In fact, the only way that you will get an 'A' is to do the prescribed activities found on this blog.

A shortened version of this class can be taken Saturdays at the Saint Paul site on Jackson Street. You will be able to earn up to five credits (counting a work credit if you qualify) for doing the weekday sessions. You can earn 2.5 to 3 credits with a work credit by coming Saturdays in Saint Paul. Take your pick!

The first day of school for the new school year will be the first day of the State Fair. If it goes as planned, we will meet at the fairgrounds. The school will pay for your entrance and we will do activities at the Educational Building located on the fairgrounds. When finished, you can be free and go enjoy the fair. More information about that activity will be made available later. The second day of school will be held the day after Labor Day. Enjoy!
